This plaque is displayed on the building in Liverpool which stands at the corner of Water Street and Fenwick Street, the location once occupied by the Tarleton family residence. It replaces an earlier marker which is shown farther down this page. (Photo courtesy of Peter Tarleton.) |

Peter sent me this photo several years ago. He visited the site again in the summer of 2008, planning to take a higher quality picture, and discovered it had been replaced with the "World Heritage" version shown above. |
